Microsoft's Phil Spencer has been on Twitter once again, this time stirring up interest (and our hopes) for an anniversary edition of Bioware's much loved RPG, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

In the exchange on Twitter, Spencer admitted that KoTOR was among his top five RPGs of all time, and when asked if there was any chance of a re-release, Spencer said: "I like the idea. No idea how the rights would work on that now with all the changes. I'll put a vote in."

While we're not holding out breath, an anniversary edition of Bioware's RPG would go down an absolute treat.

In less pleasing news (for racer fans in particular), earlier in the week Spencer confirmed - again on Twitter - that there was no Project Gotham Racing title in development: "We aren't currently working on PGR. I really liked the franchise, really just down to # of racing franchises."
