SteamWorld Heist

Soundtrack for Steamworld Heist hits Bandcamp

Steambot beats from Steam Powered Giraffe.

Swedish developer Image & Form got some professional help from Steam Powered Giraffe for the soundtrack in SteamWorld Heist. The folk rock band from San Diego has its roots in steampunk subculture and has been making music since 2008. As you'd expect they like to dress up for their gigs.

Originally the plan was for Steam Powered Giraffe to simply contribute the theme, but in the end Steam Powered Giraffe composed a whole album which is now also part of the game. And now it's available on Bandcamp for 10 dollars. And it's possible to listen to two songs for free.

SteamWorld Heist launched on Nintendo 3DS eShop the other day and currently enjoys 15% off its sticker price. The plan is for the game to launch on a bunch of other platforms next year.

We're currently working on a review for the turn-based strategy game that is proving rather enjoyable.
