Sony registers PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9 and PS10

Sony doesn't seem to have any plans of slowing down when it comes to console sales.

Playstation 5 isn't being released until late next year, but this does not prevent Sony from planning ahead, as Gematsu now reports. And we're talking far ahead. Like really far.

It turns out Sony Interactive Entertainment has now registered the trademarks PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9 and PS10 in Japan. This is likely preparation of things to come (so there's really no need to start worrying about Playstation 11 just yet), but it does show Sony's intent to keep using their numbered Playstation consoles.
