Sonic Mania surpasses one million downloads

Sonic Mania was released back in August of last year (although we're getting Sonic Mania Plus in summer) and it seems to have gone down well with the community, as Famitsu has revealed that the game has surpassed one million downloads.

ResetEra user Mpl90 was kind enough to bring us this info in English, as well as the fact that Sonic Mania Plus has now been confirmed for Japan. As a reminder, the game is available for download on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, which is where this one million figure is shared.
