Sonic Mania is getting an anime intro

As the older among you may recall, it wasn't unusual for some games to have a short anime sequence as an intro, which was a habit, for example, of the Dragon Ball Z series. And who better than Sega's emblematic character to reproduce this good old tradition, as that's exactly what will happen in Sonic Mania, which is getting released next week.

The very short film displays the three heroes of the adventure, namely Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, through a colorful universe emphasising some classic elements of the series. You can (and probably should) watch the video for yourself down below.
