Sonic CD to XBLA

Some of us here at Gamereactor loved Sonic the Hedgehog CD, especially the music, but we still don't see it very often - last time it was released back on the Sonic Gems Collection in 2005 (for Playstation 2 and Gamecube).

But have no fear, Sega is about that. According to Major Nelson, the game will be available at Microsoft's booth at PAX. It's up for release later this year, presumably around the same time as Sonic Generations, on XBLA. Hopefully it will also make it to PSN and Wiiware.
