Zack Snyder has brought Batman to life through various films, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, and while some people had criticisms of Batman's more aggressive and violent style, Snyder thinks those people "living in a f***ing dream world".

In many stories The Caped Crusader is depicted with this moral dilemma, since he doesn't want to hurt or kill people, and he often wrestles with the consequences of his actions like in The Dark Knight. In Batman v Superman specifically though, he's a lot more violent in his approach, and here's what Snyder had to say about fans questioning that:

"Someone says to me: [Ben Affleck's] Batman killed a guy. I'm like, 'F***, really? Wake the f*** up.'"

These comments were made during a Q&A and shared in a video on Reddit, where he later added:

"I guess that's what I'm saying. Once you lost your virginity to this f***ing movie and then you come and say to me something about like 'my superhero wouldn't do that.' I'm like 'Are you serious?' I'm like down the f***ing road on that."

"Look, I'm 100% fine with it. It's a cool point of view to be like, 'My heroes are still innocent. My heroes didn't lie to America. My heroes didn't embezzle money. My heroes didn't commit any atrocities.' I'm like, 'That's cool but you're living in a f***ing dreamworld.'"

What do you make of this approach to Batman?
