Sniper Elite V2 Remastered

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered's launch trailer is here

The improved version of Rebellion's iconic sniper shooter releases worldwide today, and the trailer shows us what we can see.

To support the release of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, a launch trailer has been provided by Rebellion to give us a taste of the sniping action, showing some of the playable characters within the game as well as a glimpse at the campaign.

Other notable features include a brief look into the frame-by-frame photo mode, which is a new addition to the title which should allow players to capture their cross-map snipes in the most glorious of fashions, all in stunning 4K. Likewise, we got to take a little look at the online features of the game, which will pit teams of players - up to 16 people in a game - against each other.

The full title will include all the DLC from the original game, which will feature the fan-favourite "Assassinate the Führer" mission. Players can pick up this release tomorrow across all platforms for £29.99 ($34.99 USD, €34.99), with a physical release coming from May 17 onwards. It's also worth noting that Steam and GOG users who already own the original game can upgrade to the remastered copy for just £6.99 ($9.99, €9.99).

Will you be taking a shot at this remastered sniper title?

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"We loved the X-ray kill-cam the first time we encountered it but extended exposure to it has lessened its impact somewhat."
