Sniper Elite 4

Sniper Elite 4's Deathstorm final chapter coming July 18

Obliteration is bringing with it plenty of new content.

Rebellion has announced that the final chapter for Sniper Elite 4's mini-campaign Deathstorm, called Obliteration, will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on July 18, as well as the Lock and Load Expansion Pack with three new weapons for the game.

In terms of the story for this final chapter, here's what the press release has to say: "It's in the Bavarian town of Steigerloch, in the heartland of Germany, where the abominable nuclear project known as Deathstorm is being researched. A heavily guarded underground complex is rumoured to lie hidden beneath the sleepy town's hilltop church, with suspicious vehicle activity suggesting the Nazis are planning something big - and soon. Elite agent Karl Fairburne must draw on all his skills to neutralise the facility and bring Deathstorm down, once and for all."

Players who purchase Obliteration will not only get this final chapter but also six new Axis characters for multiplayer, and the Lock and Load Expansion Pack delivers the SVT, M30 Drilling, and Mauser M712 rifles on top of this.

But wait, there's more, as the free Authentic Plus difficulty will be added from July 18, with relentless enemies and even fewer display aids. Other free content includes Elite ranks, raising the level cap from 50 to 250, a new survival map called Facility, a new adversarial map called Bunker, and the ability to choose the rifle's scope reticule.
