In an interview with Siliconera Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima says that Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is not just a simple port, but a full on remake of the PS2 title, built to take full advantage of the 3DS hardware.
The game is set for release in Japan on March 8, but there is currently no firm release date for Europe.
"The Cold War setting tears away the convoluted story lines found elsewhere in the series."
