Ubisoft promised to reveal all of the details about new Rainbow Six: Siege Operators Nøkk and Warden during the Pro League finals in Milan this past weekend, and they were true to their word, as they unveiled a new trailer to show us how both of them play.
These two Operators are coming with Operation Phantom Sight, along with a map rework of Kafe Dostoyevsky. What's more is that Year 4 Season 2 will also usher in changes to the recent Reverse Friendly Fire feature, as well as updates to the store and Ranked playlist.
First up though we have Nøkk, using a HEL Presence Reduction gadget to make herself invisible to camera and drones, not unlike Vigil. She's an attacker though, and the gadget also makes her footsteps silent so she can sneak in and deal some damage. She will glitch every now and then if performing certain actions, making her briefly visible to cameras.
Then we have Warden who has Glance Smartglasses that provide a number of benefits. Firstly, these make him immune to flashes when activated, but they also remove current flash effects and let him see through smoke. This defender is a good counter to those like Ying that use flashes to attack.
The test server for the new Operation Phantom Sight content is starting tomorrow, allowing players on PC to test the Operators early and provide feedback before general release.
Elsewhere in Rainbow Six: Siege we also got a trailer for the Lesion Elite Set, coming with Operation Phantom Sight. You can see what this looks like via the trailer below, and it includes the Nano-Tox 32 uniform, victory animation, gadget skin for his GU Mines, and weapon skin for the SIX12 SD, T-5 SMG and Q-929 as well as the Elite Lesion Chibi charm.
