SHODAN returns in new System Shock 3 gameplay teaser

System Shock 3 has been a long time coming, with OtherSide Entertainment keeping tight-lipped about the latest game in the legendary series, although now we have a brand new pre-alpha gameplay teaser to savour, showing a minute of action from the game.

It's very atmospheric and dark, and we even get to see some horrifying gore, so it's not for the faint-hearted. We'll have a wrench to protect ourselves with, and long-time fans of the series will be pleased to see hostile AI SHODAN's return, who looks to be causing just as much trouble this time around.

Back at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) earlier this year we also got a teaser for the game, so the project seems to be coming together slowly but surely.

Can this be a worthy installment in the franchise?
