Shenmue 3 is one of those games like The Last Guardian and Crackdown 3 in the sense that it feels like it's been in development forever, but just as those two games saw release, we'll be getting Shenmue's return on August 27 this year, and we've now got a new gameplay trailer to show us how progress is going.
Here we get to see Ryo and some of the other NPCs around him as he questions the mysterious goings-on, talking with other characters in the process. It's not just about chatting though, as we get a hint of combat as Ryo looks to learn new techniques.
This is just one small glimpse into a game that should prove vast in size, as we already know from a report last year that Shenmue III is bigger and more ambitious than previous games, which we'll see in practice later this year.
How do you think it looks so far?
