Shenmue 3 delayed to November

The previous release date in August is now gone, as revealed by Yu Suzuki & Deep Silver on the Kickstarter page.

Shenmue fans have been waiting for years for a new game in the series, and while we were originally expecting Shenmue 3 to be released on August 27 this year, Yu Suzuki and Deep Silver have announced a change of plan on the game's Kickstarter page.

The new release date will now be November 19 this year, as revealed in the brief post, which doesn't give any more details other than the message below:

"Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished. We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve!"

We found out earlier this year that Shenmue 3 is bigger and more ambitious than previous games, and the response on Kickstarter has been relatively positive, asking for the developers to take the time needed to make the best game possible.
