100 Thieves has made a couple of different changes to its Valorant coaching staff. As announced over Twitter, Sean "sgares" Gares has decided to step down from the position and depart the team, and with this being the case, "Michael "Mikes" Hockom has come in to take over the role.

Speaking about Gares departure, 100 Thieves said, "Today we part ways with Sean Gares. We are grateful for all this Immortal Mind has done for our Valorant program. From spirit, to processes, to tournament-winning timeouts, Sean has taken us to new heights. We wish him the best in future endeavours."

Likewise, talking about Mikes joining the team, 100 Thieves added, "Please welcome @MikesHD_ as the new Head Coach for 100 Thieves! Mike has worked tirelessly as Assistant Coach to refine our roster, and we hold no doubt that he'll shine even brighter in this role. The torch will be carried into a new era of 100T VALORANT."

We'll see how this new leadership will fare when the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour season starts, with the Kickoff Tournament in Brazil, in 2023.
