A lot of people may have gone into the League of Legends World Championships thinking that SK Telecom T1 would have won the entire thing, but in the grand final of the competition fellow Koreans Samsung Galaxy showed their worthy by defeating SKT 3-0 to lift the trophy themselves.
SKT had been wobbly throughout the competition, with close wins and slips against the likes of Misfits putting doubt upon their dominance, and the same applied to Samsung Galaxy, who had to overcome Team WE and Longzhu Gaming after their groups to get to the final.
It was a dominating performance from SSG, however, and they ran the entire match, so it was a well-earned victory for the Koreans. Did you expect this result?
