Sam Lake wants to make Alan Wake 2 if it can meet expectations
Remedy Entertainment wants to make Alan Wake 2 happen, but Sam Lake says he feels "the bar is higher" today so meeting expectations could be a tough task.
Fans of the dark horror adventure Alan Wake were ecstatic after it was announced that Remedy Entertainment had finally acquired the publishing rights to the series that the studio developed and released with Microsoft back in 2010.
In an episode of IGN Unfiltered, however, Remedy's Sam Lake told IGN that he wants to make a sequel to the beloved horror adventure but that "It's a curious thing. At this point, so much time has passed. I feel that the bar is higher in some ways". Surely, Lake has a point. The series has been dormant for quite some time with the last piece of content released in the Alan Wake universe having launched in 2012, but we're certain that Remedy can follow the original up with something great.
