Sam discusses 'Battle Royale' esports on stream

He played Fornite for two hours yesterday.

The 'Battle Royale' genre of games seems to really be taking off at the moment, with the mighty PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds at the height of this, followed by Fortnite's Battle Royale mode, and soon to be others like Paladins. What this also means is that there are tentative moves for these games into the esports/competitive scene, as PUBG has had big events like tournaments at Gamescom and IEM Oakland, while Fortnite has had smaller scale competitions of its own.

Sam took to the livestream yesterday to talk us through some of his thoughts both on the Battle Royale esports scene as it stands and what lies ahead, and you can see the entire stream down below, where he also manages to achieve a victory in Fortnite at the same time.

Do you like these kinds of games in regards to esports?
