Saints Row dev wants to hire 100 new employees

With the all too-frequent stories about cutbacks, downsizing and financial woes in the game industry, it's nice to hear about successful studios growing.

One such studio is Volition, makers of the Saints Row series, who's planning to add 100 new members to their team. According to Games Industry, the studio is also hoping to remodel their offices, and are seeking $200,000 in financial assistance from the city of Champaign to that effort, as well as $1,000 for each new employee.

Volition is currently located in Champaign, but will consider moving if they don't find the financial support, GI reports.
