Just a few days ago, we reported on the news that South Korean esports organisation Runaway was making a return to the competitive Overwatch scene for the Overwatch Champions Series. Now we can add to that news by reporting on the roster that the team has signed.

Runaway is returning to Overwatch with a heavy-hitting team. The roster is made up of several Overwatch League veterans (and one World Champion) and a few Contenders stars to boot. As for who these players are, the roster looks as follows:

  • Kim "JaeWoo" Jae-woo

  • Lee "LeeJaeGon" Jae-gon - 1x Overwatch League champion with the Shanghai Dragons

  • Kim "Mag" Tae-sung

  • Kim "Prophet" Hyun-been

  • Kim "vigilante" Joon

  • Kim "ZEST" Hyun-woo

  • Kim "Chara" Jung-yeon as the coach

We'll get to see this team in action in the Asian division of the OWCS, which is slated to kick off in the coming weeks.
