Rumour: The Division movie is in the works

We've already seen Warcraft: The Beginning (read our review here) and The Angry Birds Movie, with Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Tetris and Fruit Ninja on the way. Now it seems that Ubisoft is looking to complete their trifecta with The Division.

According to Variety Jake Gyllenhaal, which also starred in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, is set to star and produce in a movie adaptation of The Division. It seems that they're still in very early production, as they are looking for a writer to pen it.

We've already seen that a dystopian New York City in the aftermath of a pandemic can turn out to be a good movie with I am Legend. Spicing this up with The Division agents and different factions sounds fun, so consider us interested.
