Respawn's Star Wars game was confirmed, and given a title, at this year's E3. The game is called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and is set between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, where players will take control of a padawan who has survived Order 66 and who is on the run from the Empire.
We don't know much more than that about the game, and Respawn has been pretty tight-lipped so far. But in a recent episode of a podcast called Making Star Wars, as reported by PCGamesN, the host Jason Ward said he'd been talking to some unnamed people "in the gaming industry" about the game, and had learned the following:
That Fallen Order will "be pretty much like Force Unleashed without the Mountain Dew qualities," it will be "true to canon, and content that we've seen in films and stuff, so we won't see anything absurd," and added that "you won't see people pulling down Star Destroyers and stuff."
Whether there is any truth to this or not, remains to be seen. What do you hope to see in Jedi: Fallen Order?
