Rumour: New Beyond Good & Evil is an NX exclusive

Not long ago, after years of waiting and a whole lot of speculation the previous weeks, a new Beyond Good & Evil game was finally confirmed as in development by Michel Ancel and his team at Ubisoft.

In the aftermath, new rumours about the game have surfaced, the most juicy of which stems from website Let's Play Video Games.

First of all, the website claims that the game is not a sequel, but rather a reboot of the series. This is the reason for Ancel and Ubisoft refraining form calling the game Beyond Good & Evil 2, and as such a safe and believable rapport.

More uncertain however, is the claim that Ubisoft has a CGI trailer in the works for the game, that will be shown alongside Nintendo's reveal of their new console code named NX. In fact, it's being claimed that the new Beyond Good & Evil is an NX exclusive that will launch in the summer of 2018.

We recommend more than a few grains of salt to supplement these rumors, but stranger things have happened, we suppose. Would you prefer a sequel, or a reboot?
