Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been a hit for the developer not only on PC, but also on mobile platforms too, and now it seems as if Blizzard might be preparing to take on the mobile market yet again, if a job listing on their official website is anything to go by (via Dot Esports).
According to this job listing Blizzard is searching for a software engineer for an unannounced project, and their role will be focused on "Blizzard's mobile gaming efforts." The developer is also looking for a candidate with experience in developing mobile games, so it seems pretty likely that this new project may well be a mobile one, or one that's at least on mobile as well as other platforms.
In an interview with VentureBeat in February Blizzard's co-founder Frank Pearce showed interest in the mobile platform, calling it "one of the key spaces for conscious discussion," so it doesn't seem too far-fetched to think that Blizzard would be looking more into mobile. In the same interview Pearce also made it clear that franchises such as Overwatch and StarCraft would fit very well into this kind of entertainment
What do you expect - a new IP, or a successful franchise "translated" in a mobile version?
