Rumour: Another Resident Evil remake?

If insider Ahsan Rasheed on Twitter is to be believed (he often is), Capcom is planning to release a new version of the original Resident Evil game. Capcom has already made this once in 2002 for Gamecube, but it would make sense to re-visit the the beginning of since a lot of fans has complained about the latest Resident Evil games being removed too far from what the series once stood for.

If Rasheed is right, the game will be release for PC, Playstation 3 and 4, and of course Xbox 360 and Xbox One next year.
