Rumored Call of Duty director wants Hardy and Pine as leads
Kirk and Bane to team up?
Just last week we reported that the Call of Duty movie, the one that has been on and off for the last couple of years, might have a director lined up - Stefano Sollima, the director behind the upcoming Sicario 2: Soldado and the TV series Gomorra.
Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but according to the Metro, the director has spoken about who he would want as leads in a potential Call of Duty movie. His top choices are none other than Batman back-breaker and venomous villain Tom Hardy and Captain Kirk actor Chris Pine.
"I mean, I like almost everything [he's been in]. I'm waiting for his Venom. Even in Mad Max, he was great," Stefano Sollima told paper about Tom Hardy.
"He's tough, but he's smart and he can have a sense of humour but he can [also] be in such a dramatic role," the director said with regards to Chris Pine.
If this all comes to fruition, and Sollima gets to work with these actors, let's just hope it goes better than the last time Pine and Hardy worked together (that being the rather lacklustre This Means War). Do you think these two would be a nice fit for a Call of Duty movie?
