A new update has hit PUBG Mobile, bringing a whole host of new content including the Royale Pass Season 8. For this season, the Royale Pass will have a nautical theme, as PUBG Mobile sets its sights on the seas, bringing new unlockable and equippable lost treasures from the oceans. Some of the more notable cosmetics include the clownfish hoodie and the octopus-themed skins and backpack.
As well as the Royale Pass, a new weapon will be making an appearance. The PP-19 SMG is a gun that uses 9mm rounds in its 53-shot magazine, and there's a new perspective in Team Deathmatch mode, bringing third-person to its players in the playlist.
To tie the update together, a few system upgrades will be making their way to the title, including a redesigned season interface made to be more intuitive, and tweaks to the Subscriber BP Shop, Title, Effects, Crate Names, and more. To top it off, Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation have announced a one-year anniversary celebration, in which community members can celebrate the event with exclusive content and earnable rewards.
If all these don't quite satisfy your PUBG Mobile needs, be sure to look out for the other summer events coming such as the collaborations between Alan Walker x PUBG Mobile, bringing new cosmetics and a song, plus the return of BAPE x PUBG Mobile in August.
PUBG Mobile is free to download and play right now on the App Store and Google Play, and for more details on the Royale Pass check out the website.
Over on PC PUBG players have Season 4 to enjoy, bringing a huge list of changes like the rework to Erangel, so wherever you play the battle royale game you've got a lot to savour.
