Do you remember the excellent Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series? The original game was developed by Factor 5 and released on Nintendo 64 and PC back in 1998, and two sequels were to follow. The most recent one, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike was released on Gamecube back in 2003.

Now it seems that LucasArts are recruiting a ton of people for an upcoming "aerial shooter", and it takes little imagination to think that they may want to revive the dormant franchise. Remains to be seen if the internet is jumping to conclusions, or if there is another Rogue Squadron coming. Nintendo platforms are prime suspects, but a full on revival on multiple platforms is also a possibility.
