Rockstar has released some official tips on how to master GTA Online's new freemode events. The guide is divided in three parts, with part 1 now available and parts 2 and 3 set to arrive in the next couple of days. Below you can read Rockstar's tips in short, or you can read the full thing right here.

General tips:
Some common sense right here from Rockstar. Before going out to these events, make sure to stock up in weapons, vehicles, ammo and armor. Pack your garage with several vehicles types, including bikes and off-road cars, so you can get them when needed. Rockstar also advises players to stop being greedy and to share money with the other team members.

Hunt the Beast event:
In this mode, one player gets to be a beast (kinda werewolf), while the others search for him. The Beast has to visit some specific locations in Los Santos and Blaine County, while the remaining players need to take him out. Rockstar advises players to use the expanded Radar (on display settings), that will allow you to have the beast more time under your, well, radar. Hunters should work together as a team, listen for groawls, and take attention not to be fooled by the beast possible voice chat false tips. As for the beast, just try to plan your route and avoiding giving your location away with erratic actions. If followed by a helicopter, don't be afraid to take it down.

King of the Castle event:
The objetive for King of the Castle is to secure the marked area, earning more cash and RP for each second you can survive within the area. This event will promote a lot of gunfire and explosions inside the castle area, so try to get some cover to hold out as long as possible. Rockstar also advises players not to focus on each other, except for the one inside the area, and the Points Leader. Once you get to control the area, be sure to place some mines to keep opponents away. In the other side, don't forget you can get Merryweather backup in exchange for some money.

Moving Target event:
Your goal, as "the target", is rather simple. Just get the refered vehicle (car or plane) to the required location before everyone else tries to blow you up. This can be a tricky goal to achieve alone, so don't be afraid to ask for some support from a friend in exchange for a percentage. Also make sure to keep an eye in the GPS and another on the road - you never know when a shortcup might present itself.

Hot Property event:

For this one, you must try to hold to a special briefcase for as long as possible, during a eight minute timer. You can try to escape from your enemies on foot or using any vehicle, but don't forget you will be on everyone's radar when you have the briefcase. If you die, the briefcase will be carried by whoever pick it up. Also, don't forget you can actually pick up the briefcase while inside a car, and have a partner, for a percentage of the money you earn.

This is it for the first part of Rockstar's freemode events guide, with four more events covered in part 2.
