Double Dragon 4, developed by Arc System Works, was released last week and sometime later this month we can look forward to more pixelated old school beat 'em up action when River City Ransom: Underground is launched on PC. The game had a fairly successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2013, and was supposed to launch the year after.
That didn't happen, though, not until now. An exact release date is still undecided, but the developers Conatus Creative promise that it will happen during February and, sure enough, have released a launch trailer for the game.
The River City Ransom series, Kunio-kun in Japan, originally started in the late '80s for NES, developed by Technōs (who ironically also did Double Dragon 4). It was released in Europe as Street Gangs. The series had several spin-offs in Japan, and one of them was a soccer game called Nintendo World Cup for the NES, which eventually released here as well.
