Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have announced the enhancements fans of Rise of the Tomb Raider can expect when the Xbox One X gets released on November 7 this year, and a trailer has also been provided to make it clear how much the game can be improved by the new console.
These enhancements have been developed in partnership with Nixxes Software, and include premiere graphics as well as technical enhancements and settings so players can tailor the game to their own tastes. This includes the choice "from one of three visual modes", including Native 4K (3840x2160) for highest fidelity; enriched visuals for "stunning graphic upgrades"; and High Frame-Rate for smoothest gameplay.
HDR support is also included, as well as spatial audio support, including Dolby Atomos; enhanced texture resolution for Lara, other characters, and environments; improved anti-aliasing for realistic details; improved volumetric lights; improved reflections; enhanced foliage; upgraded polygonal detail; and amplified texture filtering.
A video included down below discusses these changes. Is this looking like something you'd buy an Xbox One X for?
