Throughout this weekend we've been in Anaheim, California to cover the Call of Duty World League event in the Convention Center, and now Rise Nation has lifted the trophy at the tournament after defeating European side Red Reserve in the second best-of-five in the grand final, with Red Reserve coming from the losers bracket to win the first best-of-five.

After this loss, Rise recovered to take home the second 3-1, but every match between the pair was tantalisingly close, even including a draw when the pair faced in the winners final. Red Reserve then had to beat Luminosity Gaming to set up a rematch with Rise, but it wasn't enough to clinch the title.

Peirce 'Gunless' Hillman showed just how valuable he was to Rise Nation yet again, winning the MVP award as well as the trophy, and now all eyes are on the CWL Championships, starting on August 19. For now though, make sure to check out our video coverage from Anaheim below. Did you expect Rise Nation to win?
