Riot is producing a League of Legends animated series called Arcane

The developer is looking to expand the League of Legends world by delving into the lore behind two of its Champions.

As part of the special edition Riot Pls stream, Riot Games, developer of League of Legends announced they are producing a new animated series, set in the world of League, titled Arcane.

The show being produced by Riot themselves is set in the fantasy world of the hugely popular MOBA and is supposedly about the origin tale of the two champions, Jinx and Vi, telling the story about the situation that tore them apart.

Set in Runeterra, the show is likely looking to take place throughout the neighbouring cities of Zaun and Piltover, as shown in the teaser trailer released throughout Riot's special stream.

As for more information coming out about the series, we will have to wait until 2020 before more is revealed.
