At Gamescom 2016 we talked to Milestone's Daniele Casto about Ride 2 and what they are doing with the game going forward.
"We have basically improved on every aspect of the game", Caso said, "from the graphics to the physics. Especially in terms of content because we [went] from 800 to 400 customisation options for bikes and riders [to] more than 1,200 pieces right now. We have 15 more tracks, we have five new game modes and the loading time is 30% less long than the previous title. So we basically collected all the feedback we got from the previous title from the community and we have implemented in a new version of the game for Ride 2".
We also asked about the process of choosing the tracks that feature in the game. "Basically our team, the team of developers, they are bikers, they are bike lovers, and we keep an eye on the community so the mix of different things actually made the selection of the bike, it was quite easy. Of course there are the more iconic that we want to include". He continued "we are planning of course to support the game with DLC, new content, sometimes new bikes, new tracks".
Ride 2 will be released on October 7 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
