Vials of Richard Garriott's blood had been seen on eBay last week selling for $5,000 as part of a PR stunt for his latest project Shroud of the Avatar.
The creator of Ultima had his blood listed on eBay as "the 'Blood of Lord British'" and purchase of these promised the chance to visit the developer's studios in Austin, Texas as well.
However, these blood vials were removed from eBay, presumably because they violated eBay's policy not to sell human remains or body parts. Instead they have gone on sale on the Shroud of the Avatar store with three of them being sold already. They are slightly more expensive here, however, and come with in-game loot as well.
The game is approaching its first server wipe on July 28 but will still remain in early access, however.
