Rachel, a new Resident Evil character who first appeared in the 3DS version of Revelations, is to be a playable character in the Raid Mode in the multiformat version of Resident Evil: Revelations (it's coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U on May 24). She'll be joined by two new enemies, the Wall Blister and one yet to be named character (who'll appear once a certain level has been reached).

Wii U features have also been announced: players can use the GamePad to access the map and weapons, and the game allows for "Off TV play". You'll also be able post a dying message on the Game Over screen for other gamers to see (via Miiverse), and amusingly we'll be able to personalise enemies thoughts via the ‘Creatures Voice' function - to rub salt in the wounds of friends as they're getting munched on by the undead.
