Resident Evil Requiem: Guide to finding all of Mr. Raccoon Memoriams
"Hunt us, seek us, find us, break us!" There are 25 rattling dolls throughout the game. Are you missing any?
The main collectible in Resident Evil Requiem is not antique coins, but rather the "Mr. Raccoon Memoriam", a series of toys named after the most famous city in survival horror (or were you thinking of the Super Mario Bros. 3 costume?), which dance and make a very characteristic rattling noise.
The first thing you need to know is that it's not enough to just find them; to get them all, you'll also have to break them. And the bad news is that if you don't have a knife or other bladed weapon, you'll have to use a bullet, which will affect your already scarce ammunition... and make a lot of noise!
Exact location of the 25 Mr. Raccoons with explanation and tips
But that's... your problem. In this guide, we tell you where to find all 25 raccoons in Resident Evil Requiem. The most difficult ones are probably in areas you haven't explored yet, because you can hear them from a distance. And that means... well, you'd better do it on your first playthrough so you don't have to replay the game in completionist mode if you don't feel like it.- The first one is the most obvious because you come across it right after the chainsaw section, on the chimney. This is an ad:
- As soon as you get the key card to access the east wing of the clinic with Grace, at the reception desk. You may not have a knife at this point, but be patient and you'll be able to get one or craft one in the area that you met Chunk and picked up the level 1 bracelet (in the Conference Room there is an enemy with a knife and two scrap metal pieces next to him). This is an ad:
- East of the waiting room, next to the stairs, before going up to get the fright of your life from Chunk.
- In the kitchenette on the first floor, which you access after surviving the tense scene with the mechanical shovel (the excavator) in the garage, on top of the coffee maker.
- Behind and under the bed in the cell next to Emily's in the medication rooms (so you need the level 3 wristband with Grace).
- We're now with Leon in the clinic. Remember the cupboards with the wrapped door that Grace couldn't open? Well, they're no match for Mr. Kennedy's hatchet. This one was in the Records Room, west wing, first floor.
- Back to Grace, in the long-suffering basement, dealing with electricity (and the monstrous "girl") in search of Emily. In the bunk room between the blood pool and the lift, on top of the tube telly.
- In the basement workshop, as soon as you can put an electrical plug at the end of the cell corridor. On the table, between the tape and some handcuffs.
- With Grace, at the end of the secret complex under the VIP room, in the private laboratory, just before you reach the control room to find you-know-who.
- We briefly switch to Leon, in the section where he acts as a sniper in front of the Chapel door to cover Grace and Emily. This is probably the most difficult figurine in the entire game, because you can miss it even if you have the map (it's quite far away and impossible to hear) and because you have to aim the sniper rifle's scope at the lamppost on the left to find it. And on Nintendo Switch 2, it was even a little more difficult for us because of the resolution. Our advice is to take care of protecting the girls first, and as soon as they pass the chapel (you'll still have bullets left), don't forget about the figurine, because if you come down from the roof, you won't be able to shoot it anymore.
- With Leon, as soon as you arrive in Raccoon City. Between the blocked underground staircase and the Applegate Hotel, where you must continue, stop first at Café Oasis and you will find it behind the bar.
- With Leon in Raccoon City, when you have the key to the apartments, in the first room once you access the corridor leading to the underground car park, on top of some packed boxes.
- At the BSAA central camp. You'll need to save a sniper bullet, and after getting the distributor on the roof, don't take the lift down: aim for the bridge in the distance and you'll find it on the roof of a vehicle.
- When leaving the underground car park, opposite the entrance to the Cedarbrook apartments, in a window of the school bus, next to the hole in the road.
- Leon giving a nod to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Next to the crater, after crossing the makeshift bridge, if you look towards the sewer/pipe exit, you will find
Yoshianother Mr. Raccoon. - Mr. Raccoon would be the perfect little toy to give as a souvenir of your visit to Raccoon City and put on the dashboard or rear shelf of your car in the 90s, right? And where would you buy that souvenir? That's right: at the petrol station, on a shelf.
- In the style of Indiana Jones or Fallout, this figurine has hidden in a refrigerator to survive the (zombie, not nuclear) apocalypse. It is on the top floor of the Cedarbrook apartments.
- After the zip line, when you reach the top of the Willis Tower, avoid taking the lift and explore the office on the top floor.
- Opposite the BSAA camp, in the isolated area of the generator and crane next to the crater. If you've already got the fuel tin, you can sneak through the tunnels that connect to the initial area of Raccoon City. At Ridgewood Station, it's waiting for you on a seat in the train carriage.
- Before entering the legendary RPD police station, just after the motorbike, next to the overturned tanker truck, among the rubble.
- In the police operations room, hidden behind the wooden slats, on top of the rubble.
- In the library adjacent to the S.T.A.R.S. office, hidden behind a low stack of books. You may hear it but not see it, but you can shoot or chop away the literature.
- Next to the Kendo Gun Shop, in the alley on the right, if you aim at the adjoining window, to the left of the Umbrella Corporation umbrella symbol.
- The only Mr. Raccoon figurine for Leon in the ARK complex awaits you on a toolbox in the hallway, next to the stairs and transport carts.
- The only Mr. Raccoon figurine for Grace in the ARK complex awaits you to the right of the monitors in the operations room.
Alternatively, you can check out our guide on extra CP (challenge points) to find out how to purchase the Mr. Raccoon City maps, but of course, you have to beat the game first, and they cost a hefty sum of CP. Well, it's also true that you can find one of them in the third safe...
What do I get for destroying the 25 Mr. Raccoon Memoriam?
If you find and break all 25 dancing figurines, you will have completed the You Little Rascal challenge and unlocked Advanced Tuning, which adds an extra level of weapon upgrades to Leon's arsenal, on top of what they already had before.
