Report: Call of Duty League opening event to be held in Atlanta

It's said to be aiming to be taking place in mid-December.

Just yesterday we reported on the news that the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship for 2023 would be held at DreamHack Atlanta between December 15-17. Well, if Dexerto's sources are to be believed, this will also be the same location and event that kicks off the 2023/4 Call of Duty League season.

It's mentioned that Atlanta is being tapped as the host city for the opening event and that, like the 2022/3 season that started at the tail end of 2022, this upcoming season will be beginning in December, meaning it will likely run for the same duration and number of months as the season that just concluded.

Activision has not yet confirmed these plans, but since the CDL has been in its offseason since mid-June, it does seem likely that it will be back before the New Year.
