Remedy Entertainment's dark sci-fi action game Control gets its anticipated photo mode in tomorrow's 1.04. update. With the photo mode, which is a feature that has grown significantly in popularity over the last few years, you'll be able to either take photos of your screen as is or manipulate the image in front of you using filters or hide-features, to hide specific characters you don't want in the picture.

The photo mode will be accessed through the options menu and lets you do the following:

Roll the camera by degrees while pointing it at the same subject
Broaden or tighten the Field of View
Change the Focus Distance
Adjust the Aperture and determine the depth of field
In the Filters tab, you can hide Jesse or hide all other characters (or both!), or use any of the ten different filters that come with the Photo Mode. You can also reset the shot by pressing Square, and hide the UI by pressing Triangle. We can't wait to see the shots you create! Share them with us on social media using the #ControlRemedy hashtag.

Are you a fan of photo modes in games?

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"If you're a fan of Alan Wake and Control, it's worth picking up, but if you never played Alan Wake, you're better off sitting this one out."
