There are plenty of indie games to take a look at during this year's Gamelab show, and one that caught our eye was Relight, so much so that we spoke with Dream Studio's creative director Pedro López about the concept for the game, which has a lot of inspirations.
"Relight is a narrative experience that takes the player on a journey of exploration of an ancient civilisation," he explained. "It's based on the Hindu culture, and you play as the personification of the Moon, and it takes place in a fictitious world with a fictitious civilisation we've made based on all the culture from the region of the Himalayas."
"We're looking for a relaxing and calm experience. The movement, as you can see - the gravity is quite low on our character, so you can glide through the environment and what we seek with this is to make an experience of exploration where you can go anywhere in the world and you can take your time and just be peaceful in that world we are creating."
For more on the game be sure to check out the full interview below and the gameplay from Barcelona. Does this sound like a cool idea?
