July continues to be relatively quiet, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to play, as this week there's a smorgasbord of offerings on the table, whether you love being chased by mutants in VR or just want to chill out on a tropical island.

July 24

When we mentioned mutants earlier, we were talking about PSVR roguelite The Persistence, which sees you repeatedly tackle a spaceship full of mutants as you try to escape. If that sounds too horrifying though, on the same day you can play No Man's Sky on Xbox One, which is a slightly more leisurely stroll through space, or you can take a trip back in time with the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2.

Perhaps you fancy continuing an adventure though, in which case you can always get stuck into The Council's third episode called Ripples, and if you want a break from the scheming and conspiracy you can jump into Semblance on Switch, a literally 'soft' platformer packed full of lovely colours.

July 25

We've played Ys: Memories of Celceta before on the PS Vita, but on July 25 we can play it on PC for the first time in the west. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea though, perhaps the horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers might be, as that too is adding a new platform with a PS4 release.

July 26

This is the day that all new and old Banner Saga fans are waiting for, as they're finally getting the conclusion to the epic trilogy, but for something less serious and epic perhaps it's worth a trip back to 1986 with Crossing Souls, hitting the Switch on the same day.

July 27

If you're a Banner Saga newbie and want to get into the first two games, then there's good news, as on July 27 you can get the trilogy as part of the Bonus Edition. Switch fans also have a lot to be excited about, as they can break and enter with Hello Neighbour or relax in the resort with Go Vacation.

What will you be picking up?
