Reigns: Game of Thrones is taking us to Westeros

It's no secret that Game of Thrones is one of the most popular franchises on the planet at the moment, and now Nerial, Devolver Digital, and HBO have teamed up to announce a new game called Reigns: Game of Thrones, releasing on October 18 for PC, Android, and iOS for £2.99 ($3.99 USD).

The game is a swipe 'em up which requires you to choose characters and carefully explore all the relationships between the factions of the Seven Kingdoms, using your wits to work around your political rivals and maintain the favour of the people.

Reigns also goes beyond the boundaries of the series and explores potential futures for characters like Melisandre. As for who you can rule as though, you can choose from Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Sansa Stark, and more, and you can also change between king and queen for different challenges.

More on the game can be found on the official website, and you can even watch a trailer below. You might notice it looks a little bit like Nerial's other game Reigns in its art style, and since that proved popular, it bodes well for this title.
