Red Dead 2 players are sneaking into Mexico

Where there's a will there's a way.

Normally when you think about walls and the border with Mexico, you think about white men in black suits trying to keep people on the Mexican side of things out of the US. In Red Dead Redemption 2, however, the shoe is on the other foot, and the developers at Rockstar have been keen to keep players Stateside.

But as the old saying goes, where there's a will there's a way, and some determined players have managed to cross the border into Mexico despite Rockstar's best attempts to thwart them. As this footage shared on YouTube shows, there's a gap in the wall that players can (for the time being at least) slip through, with old haunts like El Presido there for intrepid explorers to marvel at. Just don't go too far, or this might happen to you.

There doesn't seem to be much use for this part of the map - for now at least. With Red Dead Online set to launch in the nearish future, and with Rockstar's longterm post-launch plans still shrouded in the fog of war, time will tell if players will be able to visit Mexico in a more official capacity.
