Ubisoft's competitive shooter Rainbow Six: Siege just got its first Year 2 update. Operation Velvet Shell is available today, February 7, and Year 2 season pass holders will get a new map with two new operators, a new map, a navigation update, and more (check out all we know).

Those two new operators are from a Spanish Counter Terrorist Unit with four signature weapon skins, and if you don't own a Year 2 season pass, you can unlock them using in-game currency or R6 credits starting on Valentine's Day. The new map is called Coastline, and it features a seashore in Ibiza.

This update also features a new dynamic interface, which shows all player activities in the same place, such as news, challenges and boosters.

Check out the Operation Velvet Shell trailer right here on Gamereactor, and more information about Rainbow Six: Siege can be found here. Which operator do you think will provide the best tactical options - Jackal with footprint tracking, or Mira with the one way window?
