Rainbow Six: Siege gets new Wild West event

A new Showdown event went live recently in Rainbow Six: Siege and it turns back time to the Wild West.

Ubisoft is turning back time with the new Showdown event in Rainbow Six: Siege set on the new, limited map "Fort Truth". The limited time event turns the clock back to the Wild West and introduces an all-new game mode. Available from July 2 until July 16, the new Showdown event has players, in teams of three, compete against the opposing team with a BOSG.12.2 and a Magnum LFP586 only as well as with a limited HUD display where health, ammunition and crosshairs are no more and no preparation phase is active.

The event also introduces 31 western-themed exclusive items such as full wild west outfits that will be available for 10 operators and players that log in during the event will get a free Showdown Collection Pack as well as the option to complete some neat Ubisoft Club Event challenges to earn even more, such as a unique weapon skin for the BOSG.12.2. If you want to purchase a Showdown pack you can do so for 300 R6 credits.
