Quake Champions' heavy characters get nerfed

We do have the new character Eisen though.

Quake Champions has just gone through somewhat of a radical change, as explained by these patch notes and reported by PC Gamer, as every heavy champion and every single damage dealing ability has been nerfed.

With the heavy champions the armour has been reduced from 150 to 125, with the overmax also been bumped from 225 to 200. The damage dealing abilities, on the other hand, will disable shooting for 500 ms when activated, and all cooldowns are now 45 seconds.

It's not all nerfs though, as the light champions have a max armour of 75 now as opposed to 50, with an overmax increased from 125 to 150.

The update also adds new champion Eisen - who has a turret that alerts him to nearby foes, as you can see in the trailer below - as well as tweaks to the Arcade playlist, as you can check out in the patch notes above.
