PUBG Corp. has released an update post regarding what's happening with PlayerUnknown's Battleground in June, which revolves around the reworked Erangel map.
The first map the game ever received has been tweaked for a while now, but the new video below shows the changes coming with the most recent set of improvements, due to land in the test server first. This will include more building styles, realistic scenery, changed areas, and test settings for an updated Blue Zone.
With regards to the Blue Zone alterations, these have been made to "help Erangel feel more up-to-date based on emerging playstyles and tactics," and are experimental and subject to change for now.
"We know Erangel is a beloved part of PUBG that stirs up passion among our players. Rest assured, we'll make every effort to keep Erangel feeling like the map you fell in love with while bringing it in line with how players enjoy PUBG today. As always, we look forward to your invaluable feedback and we hope you enjoy the Erangel Visual Update and Blue Zone changes," the post concludes.
You can find more details on the availability of the PC test server right here. Are you pleased to see Erangel getting a change?
