These have to be some of the least vague hints we've ever seen.
Project CARS 2 hasn't even launched yet, but one of the key people at the studio can't hide his excitement for Slightly Mad Studios' next game.
The Australian YouTuber SpotTheOzzie was streamingProject CARS 2 when Slightly Mad Studios' CEO, Ian Bell, suddenly showed up in the chat. SpotTheOzzie decided to take this opportunity to have an impromptu interview with Bell and probably got more juicy details that he expected.
It all started as you'd expect, with Bell talking about the development of Project CARS 2, and how it compares to other racing games. Then he suddenly started talking about another project they're working on:
"We have another game going on that we can't quite announce, but it's...let's just say it's what Need for Speed is copying. A major Hollywood blockbuster title and we have a lot of people working on that(...)and then I can tell you that we have a six-year deal with that major Hollywood company to make games that'll beat what the next Need for Speed is currently doing. For the next six years."
As if that wasn't a clear enough hint, Bell gave one last hint by saying:
"If you've ever seen me...I'm a bald guy who works out a bit. So that's a clue."
He was obviously teasing that Slightly Mad Studios has made a deal with Universal regarding the Fast & Furious franchise, which sounds fairly interesting in our opinion. We won't have to wait long for the official announcement either, as Bell says they're just two or three weeks away from the proper announcement.
