Professor Layton and the Curious Village EXHD announced

Our old friend Professor Layton has been around the block a few times, and now it seems we'll be getting another new adventure... well, sort of new.

Originally released on DS in 2007 (2008 in the West), Professor Layton and the Curious Village will be getting ported to smartphones in the future, and Professor Layton and the Curious Village EXHD (as this new version is called) will be unveiled in the next issue of Weekly Famitsu.

We know that the game will have HD graphics and new features, but that's about it, as information on the title is thin, with a release in Western countries yet to be confirmed, although we do know it's coming to Android and iOS.
