Many of you will be flocking to the Sparkle Theatre as of today to help restore the once illustrious venue back to its former glory as the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. With Princess Peach: Showtime! now available and being a Mario platformer, you can be absolutely certain that there are some additional collectibles and goodies to get along the way, which is why we've created this helpful guide to help you gather and find all of the many Ribbons throughout the game.
These Ribbons are located by finding and usually saving an NPC called Ribboner. Each time you do this, he will reward you with the level's collectible Ribbon, which can be used to unlock and acquire various cosmetic elements for Peach and her companion Stella. So, to help you acquire all 30 Ribbons, find our helpful guide below.
Early through the level, you'll find a terrace with a door that you can enter. Upon entering this door, you'll see Ribboner surrounded by six barren trees. Interact with the trees with your Sparkle Ribbon and you'll be rewarded with the level's Ribbon.
Approximately halfway through the level, after using your ninja powers to scale a roof, you'll find yourself on the ground floor, in front of a tree and a mysterious barrel. Smash the barrel and you'll find Ribboner and be rewarded for your efforts.
In the back of the saloon before you confront the outlaw gang the first time, you'll be able to interact with lights with your Sparkle Ribbon. Activate all three and fully illuminate the room and you'll find Ribboner hiding in a crevice in the wall.
Right at the start of the level, you'll find some flying enemies stealing some sweet treats. The third enemy will have an extra passenger, so defeat the foe and save Ribboner from an unwanted fate.
When you get to the part of the level with the falling paintings and chandeliers, make sure to smash the one where Ribboner is hanging on for his life. He'll once again reward you for his efforts.
Before getting your power and attempting to reclaim the stolen jewellery, be sure to wander into a hidden alcove on the right side of the level. You'll find Ribboner attempting to get back his own stolen goods. Help him and he'll reward you.
After the first show, as you're making your way to the finale, be sure to save Ribboner from enemies, as he's swinging on a bauble between foes.
This is super easy. At the start of the level, head down a path leading behind a building. Ribboner will be fretting over a lost ticket here, so sparkle the trees and find his ticket for a reward.
Before getting your power, you'll find Ribboner hanging from a ledge at the back of the level. Save him and he'll reward you for his efforts.
When getting onto the train, you'll find a mysterious placed barrel at the rear. Smash it and find a stowaway who will reward you kindly.
Halfway through the level, remember to wander down a back alley to find a hidden area when Ribboner and a couple of other afflicted chaps are waiting to be served. Whip them up a batch of cookies and be rewarded for your efforts.
After getting your power and around halfway through the level, the game will want you to explore downwards. Don't. Keep going right and use your helpful fish friends to whip open a seaweed blocked alcove to save Ribboner and be rewarded for doing so.
Around halfway through the level, when you get to the point of using the rotating screens, you'll reach a large area where you can use the screens to climb upwards. When behind the screen at the top, you'll find a hidden alcove where Ribboner has been cornered by a guard. Save him and claim your reward.
In the airship, make sure to keep exploring every passage you can find. On the left of the level, around halfway through, you'll find a door that needs to be hacked and Ribboner trapped within.
Pots are made to be broken. When you get your powers, take every opportunity to climb and explore the right hand portions of the levels, and eventually you'll find a terrace with multiple pots on it. Smash them and you'll find Ribboner within one.
You'll need to use your super sleuthing skills here to uncover an art forger. Before heading into the museum, head to the right of the level and you'll find an art seller flogging three paintings. The catch is that only one is authentic and you need to determine which one that is. Speak to the man in the back right and he'll give you a handy clue, allowing you to pick out the far left painting and help Ribboner make the right choice of which piece of art he should purchase.
During the jetpack phase at the start of the level, when you enter the asteroid belt, be sure to save Ribboner as he's being attacked by an alien ship.
At the start of the level, before entering the temple, wander around the back of the temple instead and smash some pots to find Ribboner within.
Around halfway through the float parade, you'll find Ribboner hanging from a streetlight that is being patrolled by two enemies. Eliminate them both and claim your reward.
At the beginning of the level, head forward a little bit and find the fish hiding behind the rock. Use your power on it and bring it back to the start of the level to open the clam right above the entrance pedestal. Ribboner will be within.
Before entering the Arena, head further right, smash some vases and find Ribboner.
After saving the Ninja Sparkle, during the maze section, when you have to use your snorkel and go underwater to strike an unsuspected guard, also use your snorkel to pass under the barrier at the back of the level to find Ribboner once again cornered by a guard.
When you're jumping between the floating ruins of the town, be sure to enter the small building in front of a floating log and smash the barrel within. Ribboner will thank you for doing so.
When meeting the Patisserie Sparkle, he will run off but will leave his baking set unattended. Make up an excellent batch of cookies and hand them to Ribboner nearby and you'll be rewarded.
This is a challenging one to explain. When accessing the bottom left door, you'll eventually reach an area where you can manipulate the level to access a door that doesn't take you to the next lock you need to hack. You want to manipulate the level to access the door in the top right of this weird room, and within you'll find Ribboner trapped behind some lasers. Deactivate them by hitting the switch above him and claim your reward.
Before heading into the main event and just after defeating the first collection of enemies, head to the right and save Ribboner from two circling foes.
Do you remember the statue heads that you had to twist to access one of the light switches? Well, twist them all so they face left, and then head up the lift on the far right and catch up with Ribboner.
During the platform ride, you'll see Ribboner being tormented by two aliens in the background. Use your powers to grab one of the falling meteors and throw it at Ribboner's attackers to be rewarded with the Ribbon.
At the start of the level, while using the school of fish to open the clams, make sure to open the red clam that quickly floats in and out of the level. Ribboner will be inside this clam.
At the start of the level, use your Kung Fu powers to smash the rock in your way and the one on the terrace above you. Ribboner will be hiding behind this elevated rock.
FYI: It should be noted that additional Ribbons can be found by also earning top marks in the various Rehearsals mini-games. These Ribbons aren't rewarded by finding Ribboner, so there is no specific location we can point out, rather you simply have to earn a high score to earn the respective reward.
